A couple of weeks ago we went up to SLC to the State Fair. It was fun to go and see what the State Fair was all about. Dave went to show his cows and I went to show my support to my husband. He got a 1st, 2nd, (2) 3rds, (2) 4ths, and a reserved Grand Champion. I say not to shabby. All this time I thought cows were dumb and worth nothing but my attitude is slightly changing, I still have a hard time liking the things but Dave loves it so I am trying hard to like it also. This is Dave showing his cows. I have never been to a cow show, so this was interesting.
And this is what Emmie was doing while at the cow show
I took Emmie around to see what was at the fair and we found this cool place that was for little kids to learn about FFA. So she got to milk a cow, pick some veggies she grew, got wool from the sheep, and all kinds of other things to learn how to grow things for yourself. She had a blast!
This is where Dave spent most of his time... With the cows and talking to all kinds of people about cows and giving out business cards.
I had to borrow Emmie's bows to put in one of the cows hair because people thought she was a bull because of her horns. But Dave wouldnt let those bows last long.
This is what Emmie looked like when we were all done with the fair. I think she had fun by the looks of it. We all were pretty tired by the time we were done and we were so ready to be back home!
