Family Home Evening

So tonight I decided that we were going to have family home evening. We were talking about making memories. We looked through the scrap book of our life together and then we decided or I decided that we were going to make more memories. I checked out a movie from the library that taught you how to ballroom dance. So Dave and I watched and danced the foxtrot and we were doing the waltz also. We were having so much fun and Dave asked me where Emmie was. We could hear clicking in the extra bedroom, so we stop dancing and went to see what our little angel was doing. This is what she was doing! Our poor laptop lost its buttons. She thought it was fun! So much for thinking we could have so much fun doing family home evening. I guess that is what we get when we don't do something that Emmie would enjoy. That was the end of that. Emmie made sure that we as a family were making memories. Thanks Emms!

"Spook"tacular Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. Monday night for family night we carved our pumpkin, Emmie was a little afraid of the pumpkin this year or maybe it was the stuff in it, what ever it was she didnt want it near her. The night before Halloween our ward had a trunk or treat and it was so much fun. Emmie was a little bee this year (Thanks Kathryn) and she sure was a cute busy little bee. Here is Emmie with her neighbors Kassidy and Kimberly aka Zebra and Tiger. There was also a chili cook off and we won 2nd place, it was so awesome, we won a cocomotion and it is sooo cool. I dressed up like a butterfly/fairy what ever you want to call me and Dave was a cowboy with a missing tooth. That dang bull got the best of him i guess!
On Halloween we went over to Tiff and Korys house for soup and we went trick or treating. Emmie loved it and she was starting to get the hang of it. She would say trick or treat some times but why say it when everyone else says it and you can still get the goods. Here is Emmies cute little bumb that was nice and big.

Yesterday we went out to Fredonia and rode the horses.
Here is Emmie riding Trigger, she was soo cute on him and she did pretty good for riding on him for the first time. She didnt want to ride holding on at first but then she kind of caught on at the last.

Here is Emmie going Potty. I told her to push and this is what it looks like when she does. We have to hold her feet so she wont fall in. She is getting pretty good at going on the potty, I hope when I am really serious about potty training her she wont be to hard. I love my little girl!

Wanna Be A.....

Emmie decided that she wanted to be a fish today. I went inside the house to call Dave and I was standing in the kitchen and I looked outside and she was in the pond. Luckily she landed in the most shallow part of the pond so she could stand up. She was covered from head to toe. It scared the tar out of me but as soon as I got her out I had to grab the camera for proof. She was covered in moss and she thought it was pretty cold. Thank goodness she was alright. Hopefully this will teach her not to climb in the pond.

Emmie also wants to be like her dad. She loves her dad shoes! I just say that she is just walking in her dads footsteps. Thank goodness for cute little girls that can be wrapped around their dads finger.

Happy Birthday Trudi

I Want to wish Trudi a Happy Birthday! I totally forgot that it was your birthday Gurti untill I read Tiffani and Misti's blogs. How is that for love? I also wanted to share a few memories that I have that some Misti and Tiff didn't mention.

*You always made us clean the house when you were left in charge when mom and dad were gone. I hated it when they left you in charge because I couldnt play, just be cinderlla and clean all day.

*You busted us when we were doing fashion shows and got mad at us for making such a mess!

* I remember when you and Cheri had breast milk shooting contests, and you shot me clear across the room. You defiantly are a sharp shooter!

* You taking me to get my ears peirced while I was staying at your house.

*You bailing me out while I was stuck at the airport. And letting me stay at your house.

* Your awesome BUMP, SET, SPIKE routine at the motel

*Sing star and the rock wall

* And hear about all the boys you macked on, how many boys did you kiss? 100?

Those are just a few of my memories added on to Misti and Tiffani's lists. Thanks for being such a great Daughter, Wife, Mom, and MY SISTER . I hope you HAD a Happy Birthday!

Fun without the Dad!

So Dave has been hunting for four days now and Emmie and I have been having a blast I guess you could say. We went yard selling on Saturday and man we got some good stuff for good deals. Yous should have seen us on our way home. Kids and stuff all in the Expedition. I can't believe that we really made it home with all we had!
. Monday we went over to Misti' house and had a chines dinner and dressed up. I thought it would be a fun idea for the kids. The dinner was fabulous also!

Emmie tried on a Halloween costume so Cheri could see it and see if Dalton could wear it. She loved being a frog!

Today I watched Jill's girls and it was so much fun. They are so fun and it was fun to have a little little one around again. Emmie bit Holdyn and I am sruggling with the whole bitting thing, so if any one has any ideas how to break this habbit that would be awesome. Emmie has learned how to bite, pinch and pull hair. No one is going to want to play with her if she dosent start being nice. So that is my struggle with Emmie now days.
I also staightend Emmies hair for the day so here she is with straight hair. It didnt last long, when she naps she sweats and then her hair goes culry again. It was fun for and hour or so.
We are going to be glad to see our dad home tomorrow, we sure do miss him. Life gets kinda boring at nights when Emmie is in bed and I have no one to talk to. I hope he gets a big buck tomorrow before he gets home!!!!!

Broke Down

So on Sunday Dave and I were in Vegas, we went to pick Jill up at the airport. We had my niece Khloee and Emmie with us. So we are driving back home and we were telling Jill that this car has been good but I hate it, why I dont know but I do. Dave was saying that it has been a good car for us though, When all of the sudden we started over heating then some funny noise started and Daves says " I think our engine is going to blow". Jill has a plan of unbuckling girls from thier car seats if any fire or exposion happens. We start going down a hill and our car dies so we coasted untill we couldnt go any more. We were out in the middle of no wheres land. Nothing but desert! We were about 4 miles south of Masquite. So we called Phill Baker to come and get us with is trailor so we could load the car up and get it home. So we took the girls and played in the dirt AWAY from the highwayuntil Phill got there. Thanks Phill for saving us. We finally got home and I am not even getting a new car out of this. But I do get to drive the Expedition now. I am glad that it wasnt worse than it really was. I dont think Jill will want us to pick her up anymore!

Advice needed

So I am trying to decide what would be best for Emmie, Dave, and myself. I am needing to decide how long, how often or even if needed to work. I am feeling like I need to be home and be a mom but I love my job, love those that I work with. I cant take Emmie to work any more because she likes to be more social than she needs to. I am wanting opinions not that it is going to make things any different I am just curious. Jill has been my life saver and has been so willing to take Emmie for me. It has been such a huge help, also Shanell Stapley had been helping me to. Thank goodness for great friends.

Here are some great pictures of Emmie in a bucket, falling asleep during lunch, and Emmie and Holdyn siting on the bench trying to catch fish. I am pracitcing my photography skills and trying to take some fun pictures. Man she is a hamm, I just love her!

Life has slipped by so fast!

So I decided that Cinderella has had enough of the glory and I needed to blog again. Life has been great, working and taking Emmie along with me. She does pretty good as long as I have food she is great! We sure miss playing with Payton and Porter Emmie is lost with out them around. We have to find our own fun now days!!
Emmie love to help her mom alot sometime too much! But we still love her. The other day I was letting her watch me do dishes and I went to wipe off a counter and the next thing I knew she was getting in the water. So this is Emmie helping me with the dishes. She did such a wonderful job I told her she was hired but I dont think she took me seriously.
She also loves to play dress up with her necklaces she thinks she is such a pretty princess.

Here is Emmie with her dad feeding the fish in the pond. She loves to feed the fish with her dad. I don't know if it is just because she is with her dad or to see the fish swim by her but she what ever, she loves it!

Emmie also loves to play with her friends across the street, Kassidy and Kimmy. They came over last night and sat with Emmie on her little bench and they wanted a picture so I did.
Dont you just love Emmie with snot running down her nose. As Grandpa Turek would say, " You have a lambs leg hangin' out of your nose!!"

Well Dave has been selling horses left and right and teaching in between. He is having a great school year so far. I hope it will be a great year for him, he deserves it. I think he likes have his nieces take a class from him. I think he gives them crap though, hang in there girls you can handle Mr. Cluff.
Well I shall post again some time hopefully not to wait as long as I had before!
